Dance Addict is a dance events and classes platform connecting dancers, instructors, and organizers. It allows users to discover and reserve spots at dance events and classes, enables organizers to manage their events, and helps instructors promote their classes. All data is stored securely in the cloud using Firebase.
You can browse events as a guest without creating an account. You only need an account to reserve a spot, publish events, or apply to become an organizer.

If you subscribe to Organizer Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple. We never see your card or bank details. Our subscription provider, RevenueCat, receives your subscription status and purchase history linked to your account identifier, so that the app knows to unlock Pro features for you.
Dance Addict contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK. We do not record which screens you view or what you tap.
Dance Addict can detect your city so it can show you nearby events. This is optional — you can always pick your city manually from a list instead.
If you allow location access, your approximate location (accurate to roughly one kilometre, not your exact position) is used on your device to work out which city you are in. That city preference is then stored only on your device. We do not send your coordinates to our servers, we do not store a history of where you have been, and your location is never shared with other users.

We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your data is stored in the cloud via Google Firebase Firestore, secured by Firebase Authentication. We implement commercially acceptable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all of your data at any time from Profile → Profile settings → Delete Account within the app. Deletion removes all personal data within 30 days.
If you signed in with Apple, deleting your account also revokes the app’s Sign in with Apple token, so your Apple ID is no longer connected to Dance Addict.
Dance Addict does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately.
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. See Data Protection for details on how to exercise these rights.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this page periodically.
